Single-drum compactors play a major role in soil and road compaction. Every job site presents different challenges, be it cohesive soils such as clay and loam or non-cohesive soils such as gravel and sand. Single-drum compactors are equipped with a smooth drum at the front and two rubber tires at the rear. In every Hamm single-drum compactor both the drums and the rear wheels are driven, ensuring optimum off-road mobility and gradeability. Hamm single-drum compactors can be equipped with a smooth drum, padfoot or crusher. Depending on the configuration, different compaction types like vibration or vibration and oscillation (VIO) are available. With our used Hamm compactors (with operating weights between 5 and 25 tons) we offer a wide range of young, high-quality machines for various applications and requirements.
